WHAT: Playground Closure for New Surfacing Installation

WHEN: Tuesday, July 1 to Saturday, July 19

WHERE: AMBUCS Park, 607 North Jackson Street, Enid, OK

WHY: To remove and replace the existing playground surfacing for improved safety.

DETAILS: The City of Enid Parks and Recreation Department will begin work to replace the AMBUCS Park playground surfacing starting Tuesday, July 1. Crews will remove the existing material in preparation for the installation of a new Pour-in-Place surface, scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 15.

To ensure adequate time for both demolition and installation, the playground will be temporarily closed throughout this process. Weather permitting, the playground is expected to reopen by Saturday, July 19.

While the playground area will be closed, the surrounding park amenities, including the ballfield and other facilities, will remain open and accessible to the public.
