WHAT: Champlin pool opens for the season

WHEN: Monday, June 2nd

DETAILS: Champlin pool is open with the following operating hours:

Daytime Lessons              Tuesday and Thursday     9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Lap Swim                          Tuesday thru Saturday    11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Open Swim                       Tuesday thru Saturday    12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Evening Lessons              Tuesday and Thursday     6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Swimming lessons are being offered in two additional 4-week sessions: June 2–June 25 and July 7–July 30. Lessons will run in 45-minute blocks during the day from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and in the evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Sessions are available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimmers as follows:

Beginner                            3 to 5            Tuesday and Thursday

Intermediate                      3 to 5            Tuesday and Thursday

Beginner                            6 to 12          Tuesday and Thursday

Intermediate                      6 to 12           Tuesday and Thursday

Advanced                          6 to 12           Tuesday and Thursday

The pool entrance fee is $3.00 per individual per day for the lap swim and open swim. Summer pool passes are available for open swim: $30 for first family member and $20 for the second family member. Swimming lessons are $60 for the 4-week course.

Private pool parties are scheduled on Fridays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. or on Sundays from 1 p.m.-3 p.m., or 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., or 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a fee of $150 for the first 50 individuals.
