Road Closures Planned for First Friday Summer Celebration on June 5

ENID, OK (June 2, 2026) — The City of Enid would like to notify residents, business owners, andvisitors of temporary road closures associated with the upcoming First Friday Summer Celebration scheduled for Friday, June 5, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. downtown Enid.

To allow for event setup and ensure public safety, designated road closures will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Two access points will remain open to accommodate downtown employees and businesses at the conclusion of the workday. These remaining access points will close at 5:30 p.m. prior to the start of the event.

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution when traveling near the event area. Barricades and traffic control devices will be in place throughout the closure period.

The First Friday Summer Celebration will feature family-friendly activities, vendors, entertainment, and community engagement in the downtown district.
