WHAT: Lane Closure on South Cleveland for Buckled Pavement
WHEN: Currently Closed and Opening is to be determined
WHERE: South Cleveland Street between West Owen K Garriott Road and West Oklahoma Avenue
WHY: Buckled Pavement
DETAILS: There will be a lane closure for inside lane of northbound South Cleveland Street between West Owen K Garriott Road and West Oklahoma Avenue is currently closed due to the pavement buckling from the excessive heat.
Engineering Staff were notified of the pavement buckling and began the process of investigating, planning and bidding the repair. Those steps are now complete, and Engineering staff will be meeting with the contractor ahead of construction which is anticipated to begin nextweek.
A public notice will be issued once a start date for construction is scheduled. Please continue using caution in this area until the repairs are completed.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive with extreme caution in this area during the construction.
