Intermittent Lane Closures on North Van Buren Street for Waterline Repairs
WHAT: Lane Closure
WHEN: Monday, June 29 to Friday, July 3
WHERE: Northbound and southbound traffic on a portion of North Van Buren Street from West Randolph Avenue and West Cherokee Avenue and for Westbound and eastbound traffic on a portion of West Maine Street between South Jackson Street and South Harrison Street
WHY: Waterline Repair
DETAILS: There will be intermittent lane closure in the following areas, allowing crews to repair the waterline:
• Northbound and southbound traffic on a portion of North Van Buren Street between West Randolph Avenue to West Cherokee Avenue
• Westbound and eastbound traffic on a portion of West Maine Street between S. Jackson Street and South Harrison Street
As always, this closure will be contingent on the weather.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive with extreme caution in this area during the construction.
