Convention Hall West Parking Lot Reconstruction
WHAT: Concrete replacement of the Convention Hall west parking lot.
WHEN: Tuesday, July 14 through Monday, October 26
WHERE: West Parking Lot: South Independence between West Cheroke Avenue & Oklahoma Avenue
WHY: Parking Lot Improvements
DETAILS: City of Enid Engineering Department announced the west parking lot at the Convention Hall will be closed for the reconstruction of the parking lot. Contractors will be removing the existing asphalt and replacing it with new concrete.
The project also includes installation of new lighting to improve visibility and enhance the safety of the parking area. The lot will remain closed for the duration of construction.
This closure will be intermittent and contingent on weather.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive with extreme caution in this area during the construction.
