The Oklahoma Municipal League recently welcomed the newest class of Community Leadership Development (CLD) at the kick-off event in Chickasha.

CLD Class 12 consists of elected leaders and municipal professionals from across the State of Oklahoma.  CLD is a year-long training program that provides educational opportunities for municipal leaders and is directed at issues that municipalities face on a daily basis.

“CLD takes the best of the best municipal government has to offer and trains them to become even more effective leaders,” said Mike Fina, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Municipal League. “This program provides opportunities to learn from other communities and develop relationships and resources that can help these leaders grow their municipalities.
