No decision was made. This was the second of two town halls before the Oct. 27 vote. No voting happens at a town hall.
Commissioners Derwin Norwood (Ward 2), Rob Stallings (Ward 5) and Courtney Dennis (Ward 6) listened and answered questions. City Manager Jerald Gilbert led the meeting. Assistant City Manager Scott Morris and City Attorney Melissa Blanton answered questions too. The meeting was in the Nick Benson Ballroom at the Stride Bank Center.

Tuesday, Oct. 27, 6 p.m. The City Commission votes on the plan amendment and rezoning. The meeting is in the Grand Ballroom at the Stride Bank Center. Attend in person or watch live.
If rezoning is approved, no building can start yet. A company must apply for an intensive use permit, hold its own public meeting, mail notice to neighbors and submit studies.
If a permit moves forward, the Commission sets written limits on water, power, noise, emissions, roads and reporting.
