Road Closure on a Portion of South 2nd for Road Repairs

WHAT:    Road Closure on South 2nd Street

WHEN:    Monday, December 15th to Monday December 22nd

WHERE:   South 2nd Street from East Iowa Avenue to East Illinois Avenue

WHY:     Repair the roadway where a water main broke

DETAILS:   There will be a road closure on a portion of South 2nd Street from East Iowa Avenue to 

East Illinois Avenue, allowing crews to repair the roadway.

During this construction effort, residents are requested to find alternative parking, as there will 

be no access to driveways, as always, this closure is contingent on weather.

Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive with extreme caution 

in the area during construction.
