Forecasted Inclement Weather Prompts Closures

ENID, OK (January 22, 2026) – City of Enid officials announce the following closures due to forecasted inclement weather:

• Enid Public Transit: Road conditions will be assessed on Friday, January 23, and updates will be posted on Enid Transit’s Facebook page. (Possibility of closure on Saturday, January 24.) Facebook Page:Facebook.com/EnidPublicTransit

• Meadowlake Golf Course: Golf course and pro shop close at noon on Friday, January 23 and will be closed through Sunday, January 25. The course is expected to reopen Monday, January 26.

• Recycle Center: Closed Saturday, January 24. The site is expected to reopen Monday, January 26.

• Trash Schedule: Friday’s trash route will remain the same for the week. Residents may expect potential delays in trash collection, as the extremely low temperatures may cause the hydraulics in trash trucks to freeze, resulting in operational disruptions.
