Disaster Relief Resources
ENID, OK (April 28, 2026) – The City of Enid is providing the following information to help residents affected by the April 23 tornado access available resources and understand how the public can best support ongoing relief and recovery efforts.
FOOD: Residents in need of additional food assistance may visit the Salvation Army pantry for food outside of the meals currently being served during breakfast, lunch, and supper.
DONATIONS: Community support has been outstanding. At this time, there is no need for donations of supplies. Monetary donations remain one of the most effective ways to support both immediate relief and long-term recovery. To help ensure funds can be used locally and flexibly, donations are encouraged through the following community partner links:

VOLUNTEERS: Volunteer needs are still being assessed. Community members are asked not to go directly to the affected area without prior coordination. Volunteers should check in at the official staging area at the former Community Church of the Plains, located at 4205 S. Van Buren Street.

FREE EMERGENCY HOUSING: The following businesses and organizations are offering free housing for those displaced by the recent April 23 Tornado.

INTEREST FREE LOANS: Tinker Federal Credit University (TFCU) has activated a disaster relief program for members who may have been impacted. Available options include 0% APR* interest loans of up to $4,000 for qualifying members and other financial relief measures designed to help cover immediate expenses such as insurance deductibles, essential repairs and emergency needs. Additional information is available through TFCU branch staff or by calling 405-732-0324 option 6.
