Courtney Dennis serves as the Executive Director of YWCA Enid, a nonprofit providing help and hope to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in a five-county service area of Northwest Oklahoma. She has over a decade of experience at the YWCA and has led the organization as CEO since September 2020, overseeing a staff of seventeen, 24/7 crisis services, and an annual operating budget of up to $1 million.

A graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Courtney brings diverse experience in nonprofit leadership, mental health, social services, marketing, and public relations to the Commission. Her previous roles include positions with Stride Bank Center, Enid News & Eagle, TFI Family Connections, and Associated Therapeutic Services.

Courtney is deeply involved in the Enid community and across Oklahoma. She is a proud member of Leadership Oklahoma Class 37 and previously served as an Honorary Commander at Vance Air Force Base. Her civic and professional engagement includes active roles with End Violence Oklahoma, Rotary Club of Enid, Enid Women in Business, The Care Campus, Autry LeadHERs Network, and the Garfield County Coordinated Community Response and Elder Abuse Multidisciplinary Teams.

Her commitment to public service extends to political leadership, having formerly served as the OKGOP State Committeewoman for Garfield County and as a member of the Executive Board for the Garfield County Republican Party. She is also active in the Junior Welfare League of Enid, Leadership Greater Enid, P.E.O. Chapter FS, and Gaslight Theatre. In recognition of her contributions, Courtney received the Enid Young Professionals Top 10 Under 40 Award in 2018.

After growing up in multiple states and abroad, Courtney chose Enid as her permanent home in 2006.
