TIMELINE EXTENSION for Rainwater Detention Basin Project

due to Weather Delays

WHAT: Construction for a rainwater detention basin

WHEN: Tuesday, August 12th through Saturday, January 3, 2026

WHERE: 612 North Cleveland Street to Fountain Lake Avenue

WHY: To enhance drainage infrastructure and reduce potential flooding

DETAILS: Contractors will be working in the area of 612 North Cleveland Street with the street remaining open until further notice. As a result, there will be construction traffic along a portion of North Cleveland Street and West Chestnut Avenue.

At this time, road closures are not anticipated however motorists should be prepared for intermittent flagging operations and possible delays throughout the project.

As always, this closure will be contingent on weather.

Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive with extreme caution in this area during the construction.
