Because the Independence Day holiday celebration is extremely important to citizens in our community, the City of Enid has recommended the following safety measures:

  • Those that elect to watch the fireworks show in public areas are encouraged to maintain social distancing of six feet apart between groups and wearing of cloth masks, if desired.
  • People in the vulnerable population should watch the fireworks in their vehicles.
  • People who are sick should stay home.

Parking is available on the northside of the park for only those vehicles with disabled license plates or placards, a member of the Enid Symphony Orchestra, or workers for the Kiwanis rides and concession stand.

On behalf of City Manager Jerald Gilbert and city staff, have a safe and enjoyable holiday!
