Pavement Coring Scheduled for Garriott and Van Buren
ENID, OK (May 29, 2020) –
City of Enid Engineering Department received notification from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) that pavement coring along Owen K. Garriott Road and Van Buren Street is scheduled to begin Monday, June 1st.
The work along Owen K. Garriott will be between Garland Road and South 30th Street. The work along Van Buren Street will be between Owen K Garriott Road and the overpass bridge.
The pavement coring will require crews to make multiple, brief stops in both lanes of Owen K. Garriott Road and Van Buren Street. The pavement coring is associated with a future ODOT project along the corridor and is expected to take one week to complete.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive with caution in this area during the work effort.
