"The Public" movie showing at Enid Public Library
ENID, OK (October 14, 2019)—
The Enid Public Library will be showing the movie, The Public, on Thursday, October 24th at 6:00 PM. The movie will be followed by a panel discussion with members of the Enid Police Department, Salvation Army, Mercy House, CDSA, and other organizations.
“The Public does a great job showing the essential role that libraries play in the lives of those experiencing homelessness,” said Margo Holmes, adult librarian at the Enid Public Library. “The library is a place to have a roof over your head, to escape the weather, to charge your cell phone, and to use a computer.”
The event is free and open to the public.
