Chamber of Commerce Website Ranks Enid as Number One City

ENID, OK (June 19, 2019) –

The website released its top ten lists of cities to live in for Oklahoma and Enid was selected for the top spot.

According to the website, best cities to live in America for 2019 included ten communities in Oklahoma. Ranked first was Enid followed by Broken Arrow, Bixby, Ponca City, Edmond, Owasso, Bartlesville, Norman, Stillwater and Ardmore.

The criteria used to rank the Oklahoma communities included: employment, housing, quality of life, and education and health factors. The Chamber website organization ranked 2,509 communities with populations above 25,000.

Enid Mayor George Pankonin said, “Thanks to City Manager Jerald Gilbert and all of the great city employees whose team efforts in support of our city has brought us this great honor!”
