The City of Enid welcomes your business. In order to successfully start your business, a license may be required by City Code. Listed below are the various licenses required and issued by the City of Enid. The links provided should help you in identifying and obtaining the license(s) necessary for you to operate your business. This page is intended to provide you with preliminary information. All licenses are issued by and paid for in the office of the City Clerk, 401 West Owen K. Garriott Road, Enid, OK 73701. The following applications are available and may be downloaded for your use:

ALARM PERMIT
Initial Fee: $10.00
Renewal Fee: $10.00
Expiration Date: Annually on December 31.

AMBULANCE COMPANY
Initial Fee: $250.00
Renewal Fee: $250.00
Expiration Date: Annually on June 30.
Other: Liability insurance required by ordinance.

AMBULANCE DRIVER
Initial Fee: $25.00
Renewal Fee: $25.00
Expiration Date: Annually on June 30.
Other: Background investigation required.

ARBORIST (TREE TRIMMER)
Initial Fee: $20.00
Renewal Fee: $20.00
Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance.
Other: Must obtain a grade of at least seventy-five percent (75%) on an examination administered by the Code Department to determine knowledge and experience to engage in the business as an arborist; Bond and/or liability insurance required by ordinance.

BEVERAGE LICENSE (Low Point Beer) (On-Premise)
Initial Fee: $180.00
Renewal Fee: $180.00
Expiration Date: Same as County issued license.
Other: Must provide proof of State and County beer permits.

 BEVERAGE LICENSE (Low Point Beer) (Off-Premise)
Initial Fee: $90.00

CLASS B WHOLESALER
Initial Fee: $625.00
Renewal Fee: $625.00
Expiration Date: Annually on June 30.
Other: Must provide proof of State ABLE Commission license.

DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR
Initial Fee: $300.00
Renewal Fee: $50.00
Expiration Date: Annually on June 30.
Other: Must provide proof of State license.

DRIVE-IN RESTAURANT
Initial Fee: $75.00
Renewal Fee: $75.00
Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER REPAIRMAN

Initial Fee: $50.00 plus $2.50 for each space over twenty (20) spaces

MOBILE FOOD VENDOR
Single Event Fee: $10.00
Six Month Fee: $50.00 
Annual Fee: $75.00
Other: Must provide proof of current Health Department inspection. Requires investigation of the applicant's business and moral character.  

NURSING HOME
Initial Fee: $75.00
Renewal Fee: $75.00
Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance.
Other: Must provide proof of current Health Department inspection.

OCCUPATIONAL TAX (Mixed Beverage)
Initial Fee: $1005.00
Renewal Fee: $905.00
Expiration Date: Same as ABLE issued license.
Other: Must provide proof of State ABLE Commission license.

OIL AND/OR GAS PERMITS

SOLICITORS
Initial Fee: $5.00 per day OR $25.00 per month 
Renewal Fee: $5.00 per day OR $25.00 per month
Expiration Date: Monthly renewal based on initial date of issuance.
Other: Photo ID and Oklahoma Sales Tax Permit required. Investigation of the applicant’s business and moral character will be conducted. Both the company represented and the solicitor must be licensed. 

TAXICAB COMPANY
Initial Fee: $70.00 plus $30.00 for each public conveyance vehicle operated by the licensee
Renewal Fee: $70.00 plus $30.00 for each public conveyance vehicle operated by the licensee
Expiration Date: Annual renewal based on initial date of issuance.
Other: Bond or liability insurance required by ordinance.
