The following online resources at various locations on the world wide web can be very useful to the patrons of the Public Library of Enid and Garfield County. The Library is providing links to some of these locations to assist you in finding needed information. The Library will periodically check to make sure the links are current. Library Databases

Licensed Databases: EBSCOhost, SIRS Discoverer, Books in Print, and netLibrary are licensed for all Oklahoma citizens by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries. HeritageQuestOnline is a local subscription only for patrons of the Public Library of Enid & Garfield County.
EBSCOhost: periodicals databases for the general public, academics, children, medical professionals, and educators.

 

 

SIRS Discoverer: research tool for students K-12. Includes pictures, maps, country facts, biographies, current events, World Almanac for Kids, Compton’s Encyclopedia, and dictionary and thesaurus.

Books In Print: Professional View or Patron View. Patron View offers Fiction Connection, Fiction Room, Children's Room, and "What Year Were You Born". Bibliographic resource with over 5 million titles.  

netLibrary: a statewide subscription for over 500 full-text non-fiction titles plus over 3,000 public e-books including complete works of Shakespeare and many classics. All titles are searchable.

Oklahoma Periodicals Index : This indexes The Chronicles of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Today, Outdoor Oklahoma, and Persimmon Hill.
