Grantseeking & Funding Research

 

The Public Library of Enid & Garfield County has been selected as a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center in New York .  We offer core Foundation Center electronic and print resources—databases, directories, and other publications—as well as fundraising research guidance, funding-related technical assistance, workshops, and programs for local nonprofits.  The databases may ONLY be accessed at the library itself, due to licensing restrictions prohibiting us from offering remote access.

Foundation Directory Online Database

This fully searchable database includes detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation's top funders.

Grants to Individuals Online

A one-of-a-kind database of more than 6,500 foundation and public charity programs that provide support for students, artists, researchers, and other individual grantseekers.

Print resources

The library is in the process of developing a specialized collection of materials on fundraising and non-profit management.  Books and other materials will be housed in the Reference area on the 2^nd floor. Most titles will be available to check out.  Reference directories, fundraising and nonprofit management guides, and research reports will be a part of the collection.
