ENID, OK (April 10, 2012) - In honor of Arbor Day this April 27th, C&M Production Group’s Janelle Martin has donated booth D13 to the City of Enid Tree Board at the Enid Home and Garden Show. The City of Enid Tree Board will not only be distributing trees to the public but also providing educational demonstrations on tree planting, pest protection and tree selection.

Free Lob Lolly Pines seedlings have been made available for distribution by the Oklahoma Agriculture Department. Larger trees will be available to take home for a small donation of $5. Those tree species are:

  • Maples
  • Willow Oak
  • White Oak
  • Lacebark Elm
  • Black Gum
  • Chinese Pistache

All trees are 3 Gallon size and range in height from 5-15 ft tall and were provided by the Oklahoma Tree Bank, Apache Foundation.

This is the fifth year the City of Enid Tree Board has given away trees and over 12,000 trees have been distributed throughout the community through the Enid Home and Garden Show and various other events. The goal of the Tree Board is to beautify Enid through landscaping.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to obtain trees for your home landscaping from the Enid Tree Board at the Enid Home Show. Just stop by our booth,” Judy Watson, City of Enid Tree Board member.
