Plans, finances and operates the public transportation system within Enid and areas immediately adjacent to its boundaries, including Perry, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa.

Known as the Enid Transit, this body was established as a demand-response, shared-ride transportation system.  In 2007, a fixed route bus system was added for the general public, as well as a demand response paratransit system available to the disabled and seniors.  The system operates sixteen (16) wheelchair lift-equipped vans that meet Americans With Disabilities (ADA) requirements and three minivans specifically for the paratransit service. 

Service hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. 

Board Membership and Qualifications:   Seven members, three of whom shall be the Mayor and/or City Commissioners of the City of Enid, and four to be comprised of citizens of Enid.

Terms of Office:  Four years.
