Description: Advisory to the City Commission on matters relating to the promotion and operation of Meadowlake Golf Course.
Purpose:
- To develop funding for the operation and maintenance of the Golf Course;
- To review operating hours to maximize utilization of the Golf Course;
- To provide input and guidance concerning issues at the Golf Course, such as rental agreements, pooled or shared resources, and future renovations;
- To provide ongoing monitoring or services provided by the Golf Course and recommend adjustments as needed;
- To report and make recommendations to the City administration and Mayor and Board of Commissioners, as needed, on matters relating to the promotion and operation of the Golf Course.
Board Membership and Qualifications: Five members comprised of the following:
- One representative from the Meadowlake Men's Golf Association;
- One representative from the Meadowlake Women's Golf Association;
- One Meadowlake golfer who has demonstrated playing at least 30 rounds of golf per year;
- Two at-large members.
Terms of Office: Three years.
