Oversees the operations of the County-Wide 911 Enhanced Emergency Telephone System.
Purpose: At least once a calendar year and before September 1st of each year, the Board shall establish the fee to be collected monthly by the local exchange telephone companies for the subsequent year. This fee is not to exceed the amount approved by the voters, that together with any surplus revenues, will produce sufficient revenues to fund the 911 System as outlined in 63 Okla. Stat. Sec. 2815(D).
Board Membership and Qualifications: Three members, one of whom is a Garfield County Commissioner, and two who are members of the Mayor and Board of Commissioners.
Terms of Office: Three years.
