June 4 Master Parks Plan Public Meeting
Posted Date: 5/30/2012 9:00 AM
ENID, OK (May 30, 2012) - On June 4, 2012, a public meeting will be held in the Cherokee Strip Conference Center to discuss the progress being completed so far on the assessment portion of the plan and the survey results from the Master Parks Study. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Previously, five thousand randomly selected citizens received a survey on behalf of the City of Enid in order to assess the community needs and review the recreation and leisure needs of Enid residents. The survey will be used as one of the several tools in the development of the City of Enid’s Master Parks Plan. At previous public meetings, consulting group Howell and Vancuren were introduced as chief consultants for the Master Parks Plan. Howell and Vancuren will lead the meeting with a report on where they are in their progress and what their next steps will be.

Members of the public are strongly urged to attend the June 4 meeting and ask questions.
