The City of Enid Department of Emergency Management is responsible for the protection and safety of our citizens. This is accomplished through a coordinated effort to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters. Our ongoing mission is to mitigate future emergencies and disasters.

The Emergency Management center is located at 216 West Oxford. This is on the south end of the Garfield County Fairgrounds.

The center is used to centralize the coordination of all emergency service and public works operations that would be utilized in an event for response and recovery operations.

We register Enid and Garfield County storm shelters with Garfield County Emergency Management.
