The City Clerk's Department is responsible for maintaining all of the City's official documents, including ordinances and resolutions, keeping minutes of City Council meetings, and computerizing legislative history and records contracts.

The City Clerk's Department receives all water utility payments. It also issues contractor and miscellaneous business licenses, alarm, garage sale and park shelter permits.
