Advisory to the Mayor and Board of Commissioners with respect to Americans With Disability Act (ADA) accessibility issues.

Purpose:

  • Makes recommendations concerning accessibility to the City of Enid;
  • Reviews, monitors and prioritizes ADA improvements made pursuant to the City of Enid's ADA Transition Plan;
  • Provides recommendations for periodic revision of the ADA Transition Plan;
  • Holds hearings and provides written findings on paratransit lift appeals.

Board Membership and Qualifications:  Five members, three with disabilities residing in Garfield County, one at-large resident of the City of Enid, and one member designated by the City Manager of the City of Enid who has knowledge of the ADA.

Terms of Office:   Three years.
