Winterizing Park Features and Facilities
ENID, OK (November 9, 2018) –
With the winter season fast approaching, the Parks and Recreation Department is beginning to winterize facilities and park features. This is done to prevent damage to the plumbing within the amenities such as irrigation, drinking fountains, spray parks and restrooms. Crews will be closing the restrooms beginning Friday, November 9, 2018 and do not anticipate reopening until approximately March 29, 2019.
Exception: Cleveland Trail Head restrooms will remain open throughout the winter months.
We encourage citizens to still get out and use the parks during the winter season; however, plan accordingly as restrooms will not be operable. Portable toilets will be provided at Crosslin, Champlin, Meadowlake, and Government Springs parks.
